Christopher Peter Meloni has been known as a well-known American actor for a number of years. Most famously, he is famous for his roles was in "Law and Order Special Victims Unit". In college, he began to take an interest in acting. At the University of Colorado at Boulder, he studied acting. Although he's been active in both films and television, but it was his character on the smaller screen that earned him a cult fans. He is able to create characters that reflect both good and bad aspects in the law enforcement system. He is able capture the audiences attention effortlessly. The first show he worked on was a television serial, but he later played an officer for the NYPD. The small screen performances of his are rewarded with numerous Emmy Awards nominations and PRISM Awards. He is known for his blue-piercing eyes, which have turned into the trademark of his character and has helped him portray tough characters with charisma. People's magazine listed him as one of the Sexiest Men Alive for 2006.
