Selena Gomez is an internationally well-known actress and singer. She is the star of Disney program Wizards of Waverly Place is one of her biggest success productions. Her full name is Selena Marie Gomez. She was born on 22nd July 1992, located in Grand Prairie Texas. Her parents are Amanda Cornett and Ricardo Gomez. She was born to Amanda Cornett was 16 years old when Selena was conceived. She was nine when she was offered her first position as a showgirl when she took on the character of Gianna from Barney and her Friends. It was one of the children who got to play in the biggest and most recognizable purple anthropomorphic dinosaur. Selena has been a part of a variety of episodes from seasons 7 and 8 between 2001 and 2003. Interesting facts: Demi Lovato, who was a part of Barney's Friends during that time too, also worked with Selena. Selena Gomez tried out for different roles and programmes after leaving Barney and Friends, but did not succeed. In 2003, she had an unimportant role as a minor character in Mini Spies 3: (Spy Kids 3D: Game Over), and played Julie in Walker Texas Ranger Trial by Fire. Additionally, in 2006, she played Emily Grace Garcia on the Brain Zapped television program. In this role, she composed a tune.
